With EB Games and Gamestop no longer taking trade-ins on the Gamecube, some people may be wondering what the reason is for holding onto their purple box. Well, here?s a few things you can do with your (now collectible) Nintendo Gamecube.
Play Game Boy Advance Games On Your TV
Not many people actually bought the attachment for the Gamecube that allows you to play Game Boy Advance games on your TV, but you can pick one up on eBay for around $30 and enjoy all the great GBA masterpieces on your giant screen.
Super Smash Bros. Melee
If you don?t have a Wii and have yet to experience Super Smash Bros. Brawl, holding onto your Gamecube is great, even if just for one game. Super Smash Bros. Melee is one of the best fighting/party games ever made and will give you more than enough reason to keep booting your system up.
Wii Controllers
If you do own a Wii though, hold onto your controllers. Games like Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Kart?Wii utilize the Gamecube controller and offer a better control scheme than the one seen with the Classic Controller. Just don?t forget that the Gamecube controller isn?t wireless when you go to celebrate a victory and rip the cord out of your Wii.
A Hat Weight
We all own hats and know the trouble of open windows. I personally have lost many hats just because a breeze swept it up and took it away. By holding onto your Gamecube, you will have the perfect hat weight that will eliminate any worries of open windows.
